Welcome Mama! I’m Hannah, a Licensed Social Worker and Mom.
I’m grateful you’re here. It means you’re thinking about getting support, and that’s big. I hope you find something here that gives you the courage to reach out, if not to me, then to another therapist you resonate with, or even a trusted friend or family member. Your mental health is important and you’re not alone in needing support through motherhood. It truly takes a village, let me be part of yours.
With warmth, a fellow mom who gets it
This isn’t just therapy. It’s a place to come to be nurtured.
Pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum months are full of emotion and change. Whether you’re feeling anxious, depressed, disconnected, or just not like yourself, you deserve a space that centers you.
Motherhood is hard even past the perinatal period. If your kiddos are older than a year, but find you haven’t managed to get your head above water yet, therapy is a great option to support you in making motherhood feel more manageable, and enjoyable.
Motherhood doesn’t always begin the way we expect. If your journey started with loss, fear, or trauma, you’re not alone. Therapy can provide healing that also honors your loss.
You are preparing to be a parent, or already are one, and reflecting on how you were raised. There are aspects of how you were parented that you want to bring forward, and things you want to leave far behind. Therapy can support you in doing the deep work required to not unconsciously repeat generational patterns you swore you’d leave behind.
Beyond talk therapy
The perinatal period, from conception through postpartum, is a time of profound physical, emotional, and neurological change for you and your baby. Experiences like birth trauma, anxiety, grief, identity shifts, or even just feeling “not quite like yourself” can live deep in the body, beyond what words can reach.
Brainspotting is a brain-body-based therapy that helps access and process these stuck or overwhelming feelings at the nervous system level. By working with your eye position and a therapist’s attuned presence, we can go beyond just managing symptoms to deep and lasting healing.
This is a space where you don’t have to choose between showing up for yourself and caring for your baby. You’re welcome to bring your infant to session. Whether they sleep, eat, fuss, or play nearby, I understand the desire to keep your baby close and am happy to facilitate sessions that center your need to work on yourself and be a mom.
My practice is baby-feeding friendly and designed to support your comfort and choices. You’re welcome to nurse or bottle-feed during sessions, or you can use our private space before, during, or after your appointment if you prefer a quieter moment. Whether you nurse, pump, or simply cuddle, all ways of nurturing are welcome here.
